Do I need to buy cameras to use Shield?
The subscription is the AI brain; cameras are the eyes. You buy Shield cameras once (from $99.99) and the subscription powers the behavioral AI, alerts, and Guardian app across all of them.
What happens if I add more cameras than my plan includes?
You can either upgrade your tier or keep your plan and add cameras for a small per-camera add-on ($1.99/cam/mo on Home, $1.49/cam/mo on Business). Adding cameras within your cap never raises your monthly fee.
Does Shield work without internet?
Edge AI runs on the camera itself, so detection and BSIP classification keep working locally even if your connection drops. Alerts sync the moment you're back online.
How is my data protected?
Footage is processed on-device first, and only the results (not raw video) are sent to the cloud by default — minimizing exposure. See our Privacy Policy.
How does billing work?
