Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Anima Technology Sensor and Tracking Solutions LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use Sentrick Shield and related services ("Services").

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and billing information.

Property data: Video, sensor readings, and AI event data generated at your registered properties. By default, all processing occurs on your Shield Edge device and data remains on your premises.

Usage data: Information about how you interact with the Guardian app and Shield platform, including features used and alert response times.

2. Edge-First Privacy

Sentrick Shield is built on an edge-first architecture. Core AI processing — including video analysis, behavioral modeling, and BSIP™ classification — occurs on the Shield Hub installed at your property. Video footage does not leave your premises unless you enable cloud backup in your settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and improve the Services; send security alerts and notifications you configure; process payments; provide customer support; comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: service providers who help us operate the platform (under strict data processing agreements); law enforcement when required by law; emergency services when you activate BSIP-5 authority integration.

5. Data Retention

Video events stored locally on your Shield Hub are retained based on your device's storage capacity. Cloud-synced events are retained for the period covered by your plan (30 days for Home, 90 days for Business, unlimited for Enterprise). Account data is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion.

6. Your Rights

7. Security

We use AES-256 encryption for data in transit and at rest. All communication between Shield devices and the Guardian cloud is encrypted end-to-end.
