Terms of Service — Sentrick Shield

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sentrick Shield, provided by Anima Technology Sensor & Tracking Solutions, LLC ("Sentrick", "we", "us"). By creating an account, purchasing hardware, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Sentrick Shield provides AI-assisted property monitoring, alerts, and a Guardian dashboard. The service is a tool to help you stay informed; it is not a substitute for professional security personnel or emergency services, and we do not guarantee prevention of any incident.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be authorized to monitor the property and any individuals captured by your cameras, in compliance with applicable laws.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) through our payment processor, Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from your account; access continues until the end of the current paid billing period.
Hardware (cameras) is sold as a one-time purchase and is yours to keep.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Shield to harass, stalk, or unlawfully surveil any person, nor in any location or manner prohibited by law. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable surveillance, privacy, and notice laws in your jurisdiction.

5. Hardware

Cameras and devices are covered by the warranty provided at purchase. Proper installation and a compatible network are required for the service to function as intended.

6. Intellectual property

Sentrick, Sentrick Shield, BSIP™, and related marks and software are owned by us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your own property protection.

7. Service availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change as the product evolves. Edge processing helps maintain core detection even during connectivity loss.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentrick is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from an incident the service did not detect or prevent. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or misuse of the service.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
